on 31st March 1912 - the construction of the
Olympic-class passenger steamship RMS "TITANIC" was completed at
Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast for her owners
White Star Line. 2 weeks later the ship was tragically lost overnight
14/15th April, and the survivors reached New York aboard "Carpathia"
on 18th April. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of these events our
Evening Bash was a "TITANIC" Theme Fancy Dress Party on Saturday 21st
April 2012, with valuable prizes for the best dressed. Party started at
7.30pm - Entrance Fee Euros 10 (pay at the door). 'First Class' snacks and
drinks were available.
Starring - 'The Yachtbreakers' of course,
and Mark Dezzani's Disco provided non-stop music and they 'played to the end'. The Trophies for the Raft Race Winners were
awarded. Our Raffle featured many desirable prizes - all donated by
supporting local businesses. It was THE Party AND it was all for charity.
If you missed it - don't miss the next one (date to be announced).
